Matthew Parris; Mr Parris is a political columnist for The Times and former MP for West Derbyshire in Thatcher's government. I abstract, classify, and index his articles from 2002 to the present, and I maintain an index for all of his articles since 1988. [summer 2006 to present] Gerardo Sandoval, Member of the Board of Supervisors, San Francisco. My internship for Supervisor Sandoval involved maintaining relationships with constituents, organising meeting agendas for the Board, and administration work. [Fall 2006] Jacob Lalezari MD, CEO; Quest Clinical Research, San Francisco. I administered trial medications for HIV and recorded observations of the reactions thereof. [September 2004 to June 2006] Jesse Sanford, Univ. of Calif. at Berkeley. I assisted Jesse in a minor part of writing his anthropology dissertation by indexing manuscripts, books, and other documents. [summer 2005] Carl Teper LL.B (Hons), (now former) Head of Chambers, Deputy District Judge. I was a personal assistant in the Chambers of Carl Teper in the Grays Inn. I researched for Mr Teper and helped write his judgments. I also served administrative functions, such as correspondence and scheduling. From this job I learned much about the British legal system.
